5 Simple Tips to Keep Your Home Organized

Easy Habits for a Tidy Home

I follow a few simple routines to keep my space clean and organized. These small changes make a big difference — and they’re easy for anyone to try!

1. Clean Counter

I like to arrange things on the countertop in a straight line to make it look neat and tidy. Just placing items like the microwave, kettle, and jars side by side instead of spreading them out makes the counter look cleaner and less cluttered.

2. Closed Storage

I had an open shelf in the living room, but it collected dust and looked messy. Now I prefer closed cupboards—they hide things, keep them clean, and make the room look more organized.

3. Grease-Free Cooking

I had a gas cooktop before, but it got greasy quickly and was hard to clean. I’ve now replaced it with an induction hob, and it’s much easier to keep clean. I wipe it daily with a wet cloth and clean it weekly with vinegar and baking soda. It stays shiny and neat without much effort.

4. Seasonal Switch

I change my wardrobe based on the season to keep it neat and easy to use, since I have limited space. In summer, I keep summer clothes in front and store winter clothes elsewhere. This makes it easier to find what I need and keeps the wardrobe looking tidy.

5. Bin Routine

I empty the bin regularly to keep the space clean and tidy. If it’s too full, the area looks messy and can start to smell. Taking it out often helps keep the room fresh and organized.

I’m not an expert, but these small habits have really helped me keep my home clean and organized without much stress. Your feedback is always welcome, and I’d love to hear what works for you too. Stay tuned for more easy tips in my upcoming articles!
